21-Day Nutrition Reset

If your past year was anything like mine, it has been was filled with working from home, household duties, very little physical activity… AND FOOD! Lots of food, including snacks, sugary treats, not-so-wholesome meals, and maybe even some high calorie beverages every now and then. After all those treats you may be feeling less energetic. Like you’ve gotten off track with your health and nutrition plan.

There can be a feeling of guilt that come along with being off track. An internal dialog about what you think you should or shouldn’t do. Imagine if there was a way to feel better and get back to yummy food.

 

Being Healthy Means Being Present

Eating processed foods and a lot of sugar has a number of consequences. Digestion and gut issues get in way of our daily lives and impacts our day-to-day moods, interactions with other, and energy levels. When we eat nourishing foods, we tend to feel calmer, more in control and present for the people around us whether it's our family, friends or teammates at work. When we eat better we're able to be better.

I know it can be difficult to figure this out this alone. I personally spent thousands of dollars in programs and medical bills before I figured it out! Here's How the 21-Day Nutrition Reset Program Works

WEEK 1: Hydrate. Feel Great!

You know you haven’t been drinking enough water, dehydration can really impact your health. Plus you are eager to start a nutrient-dense food plan plus other healthy habits and you want to know how to do that. Better health is just 3 weeks away! No matter what your goals are, you will ONLY get the results you want from eating Real Food and balancing your metabolism. You will learn how to do this in Week 1.

WEEK 2: The Secret to Stopping Sugar Cravings!

You are trying to cut the sugar. But how can you stop the cravings? Sugar is an addictive substance. Some say it is harder to quit than heroin! In this call, I will share my secrets to reducing your sugar intake and how to support your body while you quit.

WEEK 3: Get Your Greens On!

You know you need to eat your veggies. And you know you need to eat more of them! In Week 3, I will offer proven tips to incorporate more vegetables into your daily diet. Plus we will discuss the benefits of juicing and green smoothies.

No, this program isn’t a diet. It focuses on building good habits, eating less sugar, more veggies, and learning how to avoid highly processed low nutrient foods. Because of the reduction in simple carbohydrates and sugar, combined with healthy foundational habits and more veggies, a lot of people do lose a pound or two during the 21 days, but that is not the primary focus of this program.
This program is not a strict regimen of providing a structured breakfast, lunch, dinner menu that you are required to follow. I also don’t believe in forcing people to eat foods that they don’t like. If you don’t like kale it’s not required. The program does, however, encourage you to add veggies to your diet, we’ll just focus on the ones you like.
You are under no obligation to buy supplements in order to participate in the program. There are just a few recommended supplements which I have researched for ingredients that share with you in order to help support metabolism and digestion. You do not need to purchase them from me. It it important, however, that if you purchase the supplements somewhere else you read the label and make sure there are no artificial colors, titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate, or other negative ingredients.
It sounds great when you buy a program to get all of the material at once so you can go over at your leisure. The challenge is that often when we have all of it there’s so much information that it can get overwhelming. Unfortunately when things are overwhelming we tend to set them aside and that sometimes leads to not finishing the program. If, on the other hand, you take the time to go through it step-by-step you are building healthy habits which are more sustainable.
The Q&A sessions are recorded and will be available to you for 30 days after the program is done.
There are a lot of handouts in the program. A number of them have delicious recipes that fit the framework of what we are learning. It’s not a cookbook, but there are a number of new, and tasty, recipes for you to add to your meal plan.
The program doesn’t require a 100% organic diet. While certain foods, such as the Dirty Dozen, are strongly recommended to be purchased organic, and I tell you why that’s important, you are not required to.
This program is structured to encourage following a gluten-free plan at least for the 21 days. While the celiac disease only occurs in a small percentage of the general population, there are a lot of people who can have a sensitivity to wheat or gluten. There is also a condition called Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS). There are also an increase number of people who are highly sensitivity to glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, used in harvesting grains. By avoiding gluten containing grains for the 21 days of this program you’re able to potentially check in with your body to see if there is a reduction in some inflammation, gut-health, or other symptoms you may be experiencing. If you don’t avoid gluten for the 21 days you may not be able to fully notice any potential changes.
This is not a low sodium program. It’s also not a high sodium program. The amount of salt you consume while going through this program is up to you. However, if you have a health condition that requires you to moderate your salt intake I encourage you to work with a medical professional and figure out what the correct salt/sodium level is for you.
I do not recommend any artificial sweeteners. Both during the program and beyond. We will be talking about that further in week two.
I do not recommend counting calories. This program is focused on eating whole, nourishing, real foods and paying attention to how your body feels rather than following the dictates of a number.
It’s important to know that I am not a doctor and this program does not focus on specific/chronic health conditions. This is a foundational program that encourages eating whole foods and nourishing the body. If you have concerns about following a program which encourages healthy eating habits, less sugar, and more vegetables, in combination with your specific health issue please consult your doctor before you sign up.
